Plenty of Spirit on Display For 7th Annual Spectronics Cheerleading Competition

Mobile, Ala.(Oct. 9, 2012) – The Seventh Annual Spectronics Cheerleading Competition presented by the GoDaddy.com Bowl was held on October 6, 2012 at the Mobile Convention Center. The competition hosted squads from around the region and the level of competitiveness surpassed that of last year’s.

The categories included junior high, junior varsity and varsity squads for building and non-building. Squads also received recognition for sportsmanship, jumps, tumbling, dance and spirit.

The expectations reached a new level this year with several of the nine squads returning to defend their back-to-back wins. New to the competition was Pillians Middle School and George County Middle School.
