GoDaddy Bowl To Host Youth Football Clinic

MOBILE, ALA –May 27, 2014 – Saturday, June 14th, boys and girls ages 5 to 13 from Mobile and the surrounding region are invited to attend the GoDaddy Bowl Youth Football Clinic, a free half-day clinic of football skills and drills training at Mobile Christian School. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and work with University of South Alabama head football coach, Joey Jones, and his staff and student-athletes; run offensive, defensive and agility drills; learn proper techniques to promote on-field football safety; and learn about the importance of character development and good sportsmanship.

“We are excited to be hosting this event again this year and are looking forward to having Coach Jones and his staff back with us,” said Kelley Wright –GoDaddy Bowl Director of Ticket Sales. “We had well over 300 kids at this clinic last year and look forward to great participation and attendance again this year.”

This year, the clinic will be held on the football field at Mobile Christian School located on Cottage Hill Road from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Equipment will be provided and participants should wear cool, comfortable clothing with tennis shoes or cleats. Lunch will also be provided for the participants after the clinic. Registration is open to the public for boys and girls ages 5 to 13.
