GoDaddy Bowl To Host 3rd Annual Youth Football Clinic
Mobile, Ala. (May 30, 2015) – Saturday, June 13th, boys and girls ages 5 to 13 from Mobile and the surrounding region are invited to attend the GoDaddy Bowl Youth Football Clinic, a free half-day clinic of football skills and drills training at Mobile Christian School. Participants will have the opportunity to meet and work with University of South Alabama head football coach, Joey Jones, and his staff and student-athletes; run offensive, defensive and agility drills’ learn proper techniques to promote on-field safety; and learn about the importance of character development and good sportsmanship.
The clinic will be held on the football field at Mobile Christian School located on Cottage Hill Road from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Equipment will be provided and participants should wear cool, comfortable clothing with tennis shoes or cleats. Lunch will also be provided for the participants after the clinic. Registration is open to the public for boys and girls ages 5-13.
“This is such a special opportunity for the youth in our community to work with top collegiate coaches. Our clinic provides the opportunity for young athletes to learn valuable skills on and off the field, including agility, technique, character-building and sportsmanship lessons,” said Jerry Silverstein, GoDaddy Bowl President.
