Game Date Set for 19th Annual Dollar General Bowl
Mobile, Ala. (May 10, 2017) – Dollar General Bowl officials announced today that the 19th annual Dollar General Bowl will be played on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 at 6 pm (CT) and will be nationally televised on ESPN.
Played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium, the game pits top-selected teams from the Sun Belt Conference and the Mid-American Conference.
In 2016, Troy running back Jordan Chunn had three short touchdown runs and the Trojans intercepted four passes and recovered a fumble in a 28-23 victory over Ohio University.
