ESPN’S CHRIS “THE BEAR” FALLICA TO SPEAK AT C SPIRE 1ST & 10 CLUB
Mobile, Ala. (Nov. 4, 2019) –ESPN Research producer and betting analyst Chris Fallica will speak at the C Spire 1st & 10 Club on Monday, Nov. 4 at the Mobile Marriott in Mobile, AL beginning at 5:30pm.
Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica has spent almost his entire ESPN career working as a research producer for the six-time Emmy Award winning College GameDay – college football’s longest-running and most-celebrated pregame show. Fallica provides statistics and information for the on-air and production crews leading up and during each week’s telecast.
Joining GameDay in 1996, Fallica’s role has continued to expand each year, now including the on air “Bear Necessities” segment on Friday nights and throughout the three-hour Saturday show.
Fallica also co-hosts the “Stanford Steve and the Bear” podcast focusing on sports with a Las Vegas angle with midnight SportsCenter segment producer/commentator “Stanford Steve” Coughlin who is a sports betting analyst appearing on the daily sports betting program “Daily Wager,” An avid horse racing handicapper, Fallica also writes about sports betting for ESPN.com.
In addition to football, Fallica works on men’s college basketball and golf, previously attending multiple editions of the U.S. Open, Open Championship and the Masters. Fallica also covered the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
A 1994 graduate of the University of Miami, Fallica earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and history. He began his ESPN career as a production assistant/tape operator with ESPN Radio in 1995. He is a native of East Moriches, N.Y.
