BOWL WEEK EVENT SPOTLIGHT: Wintzell’s Wives Day Out

Each year as part of Bowl Week events, the LendingTree Bowl host a Wives Day Out event. This event is designed to allow an opportunity for the spouses of the coaching staff to experience a relaxing day out in the City of Mobile.

This year the LendingTree Bowl is partnering with Mobile’s newest attraction, Tram the Town, to provide a riding tour of the historic Mobile. Putting a twist on things this year, Wives Day Out will be in the form of a poker run. Throughout the day the wives will collect playing cards at each stop, with the end goal being to create the “best hand” of cards by their last stop. The “best hand” will receive a tote and notepad from Visit Mobile as well as a Corkcicle Canteen from the LendingTree Bowl.

The day will start with lunch at Wintzell’s Oyster House; from there the wives will jump on the Tram and tour Lower Dauphin Street. The Wives will head across town to tour and experience a Mardi Gras Float Barn first hand, before returning to Dauphin Street for drinks and to lay out their best hand in hopes of winning!
