BOWL WEEK EVENT SPOTLIGHT: TAILGREETER TAILGATE

The LendingTree Bowl is partnering with Tailgreeter this year to provide fans will an all-inclusive tailgate. Those interested will have access to an open buffet and bar, tailgate games, live music and more. Doors will open three hours prior to kick off to get fans pumped for the game. Tickets are available for purchase here for $75.00.

Individual tailgating is also accepted and allows fans to pre-game with friends and family. Be sure to shop with your local Greer’s Market for all tailgating needs. With eight locations scattered throughout Mobile County, guests can get all game day preparation done with one stop.

All guests should abide by the tailgating and parking policies that will be in full effect on game day.

Tents

Size: 10’ by 10’ is the maximum size permitted

Anchoring: In order for movement in an emergency and to avoid damage to pavement or the risk of hitting underground utility lines, tents cannot be staked to the ground. Tents must be secured with water ballasts or similar type anchor weights.

Time: Erecting tents, awnings, and similar equipment may commence at 12PM on the day of the game. The items must be taken down and removed two hours after the game.

Location of Tents: In consideration of safety, tents are not allowed in parking lots, as they should be placed in adjacent green spaces. Tailgating activity that takes up vacant parking spaces or otherwise interferes with vehicle movement within a parking lot is prohibited. Tailgating in green spaces adjacent to priority parking lots will be limited to priority permit holders for that lot.

Sidewalks: Sidewalks must be clear of any obstruction for pedestrians.

Prohibited Areas: Tents, awnings and similar items are prohibited in the following areas:

  • Campus sidewalks
  • Intramural Fields
  • Parking lots
  • Resident halls
  • Landscape spaces which include shrubbery and flowers
